This spy video featuring several test prototypes of the future S-Klasse (W 222) doing road development programme was shot in the icy cold landscapes of Sweden, in the northern part of Scandinavia. The one who was filming the cars managed to grab key hints about certain exterior design elements to be showcased on the flagship limousine. For instance, the headlights, still heavily hidden under thick black cloth, will make use of state-of-the-art, full LED technology. The traditional Mercedes-Benz chromed radiator grille will become more upright and angled towards the front, as in the case of the new CLS. The new S-Klasse will boast a very smooth, sleek and very elegant side profile dominated by a lowered roof line and elongated hood and trunk sections.
