Maruti Alto is a subcompact 5 door hatchback. It is an Indian version of the more widely recognized Suzuki Alto. Since its launch in 2000, Maruti Alto has set records by selling more than 2 million vehicles in a single fiscal year. Perhaps, its fame to top is a direct result of low price and high fuel efficiency. Interestingly, it is also one of those few vehicles whose price has dropped in recent years. Such price reductions are mainly attributed to lowering of sales duty and government incentives.
Not too cramped for your Great Dane, but snug enough to be the reverse parker's dream, there's a cheekiness about this car that frankly, we can't help applauding. Whilst optimistic in the leg room department, you certainly won't feel threatened by country lanes, and despite just falling short of 'babe magnet', the lego toy aesthetic makes it lovable to even the most macho of hearts.
